How it works

From application to the first table

Applying is short. Most of the getting to know each other happens over coffee, not on a form.

Six steps

  1. Find your way in

There are three routes. You may have an invitation code from a member. A current member who knows you may suggest that you apply, and we will ask them to confirm. Or you can apply without either, and we will look at your application when places allow.

How many members need to support an application is still being decided.

  2. Apply online

Five short questions, set out below. It takes about three minutes. There is no payment and no document upload.

  3. Review

The club's admins read every application. We may decline without giving reasons, and we will always reply.

  4. A conversation

A coffee or a call with one of the hosts. This is the real introduction, in both directions.

  5. Residency, seen and not stored

We ask to see your resident card or Monégasque identity card in person, at the coffee or at a first event. We record only that it was seen, by whom and on what date. We never take a copy, a photograph or the card number.

  6. Welcome

If we can offer you a place, we will write to you with the house rules and the membership terms. Fees will be announced before membership opens. Nothing is paid until the club's association and its bank account exist.

What we ask, and why

We ask for as little as we can. We do not ask for your date of birth, nationality, photograph, income, employer or any identity document.
